At Yarrageh Performance Horses, our mission is to empower horse owners to unlock the full potential of both themselves and their horses. We foster a collaborative approach that deepens understanding of equine communication, teaching owners to interpret and respond to the subtle language expressed through a horse’s actions and behaviour.
Our Mission
We place strong emphasis on developing ground skills, working to refine those horses eager to engage while gently encouraging those that appear withdrawn. Our focus is on uncovering the root causes of behavioural challenges rather than masking issues with excessive training. This approach lays a positive and sustainable foundation for growth.
Our Approach
Balanced Performance
Effective riding requires harmony between rider and horse. We work to cultivate balance, flexibility, and rhythm in both horse and rider. With a particular focus on biomechanics and anatomy, we consider the skeletal and muscular systems to enhance movement, awareness, and feel.

We recognise that every horse and rider team is unique. Progress looks different for everyone, so we tailor our approach to identify and build upon your individual strengths. By doing so, we support meaningful development and improve performance at every level.
